The German Spitz Club of Great Britain will be holding their Open Show at The Sports Connection, Ryton on Dunsmore on Sunday April 2010. Members will be sent Schedules you can also down load a Schedule from www.arenaprint.co.uk or Tel Mrs V Dyer on 01452 720594. Eye testing will take place at the show at a reduced rate, booking forms are included with your Schedule. don't forget your paperwork. Visitors interested in the breed are most welcome to watch, talk to exhibitors, merchandise will be available to purchase, we can promise you a different and enjoyable day out

A Companion Show will be held on 2nd May 2010 at Hale Village hall , Lincs NG34 9LH in aid of the German Spitz Welfare all are welcome, 9 pedigree classes, 6 handling classes, 7 companion club member classes, 28 novelty classes and lots more, raffle - refreshments - Tombola - Free Parking. Schedule B eye sceme

Please be advised that, following discussions by the Eye Panel Working Party held earlier this year, as of 1st January 2010, the German Sptiz will be added to Schedule B of the Eye Scheme for the condition of multifocal retinal dysplasia (MRD). Results of examinations for conditions on Schedule B are not passed to the Kennel Club and are not published. These results are however monitored by the Eye Panel and, in time, if it is deemed appropriate, the condition may possibly be moved onto Schedule A of the Eye Scheme. The Club held its' AGM on Sunday 5 March 2008.  2 new committee members were welcomed, Mr and Mrs Chambers. Mr Chambers undertook the role of vice-chairman and Mrs Chambers undertook the role of Newsletter Editor. A farewell presentation was made to Mrs Chris Serman to mark her retirement from the committee and she has undertook the role of vice- president.
