Critique

MPD (3) 1 Morgen and Bradbury’s Edburton Braun Fox. Most attractive brown pup of 8-months. Good mouth, pleasing head and expression, neat well used ears. Good coat and body for age, moved well and showed with interest. 2 Trendle’s Lusam Neat N’Tidy. Pretty baby with profuse coat of lovely blue colour, very feminine. A little narrow in front at present and not as steady on the move as 1. Nicely trained and presented.

PD
(0).

JD
(2) 1 Wright’s Minigardens Emil Lovely Boy. Well made youngster with good body of substance, short back and high set tail, lovely feet. Facial markings rather marred by heavy staining around the eyes. Moved soundly and responded well to his owner. 2 Clarke’s Stonelight Richochet. Nice head, correct mouth neat ears. Short coupled body with high set tail, well constructed. Moved true both ways, but regrettably rather out of coat.

PGD
(1) 1 Wootton’s Sandkarahs Angel of Dreams. Lovely head and alert expression, well set ears and dark eyes. Nicely made throughout with good spring of rib and high set tail. Front not his fortune and toeing in on his left front. Presented in full coat of rich black.

LD
(4) 1 Andrew’s Porterble Sirius Black From Runfold. What a cracker, caught my eye from the start, simply oozing breed type. Lovely head with neat ears and real Spitz expression. Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulder, good depth of brisket, short back, with high set tail. Good bone and neat feet. Full black coat of correct texture, just adding the final touch to a beautifully balanced outline. Moved well despite changing handlers and showed his socks off. Delighted to award him DCC with BOB which I understand made him up. 2 Bradbury’s Wychlea Rhonday Vooh. Pleasing head, correct mouth, but would have liked slightly higher set ears. Not in such full coat as 1 but of correct texture. Nicely made throughout with good bone and neat feet. Could be a little steadier on the move.

OD
(3) 1 Clarke’s Ch Stonelight Enzo. Very similar type to my 2nd in LD. Well balanced head, correct mouth and dark eye. Good neck and well laid shoulder, short back and high set tail. Short hocks and neat feet. Moved and showed well, could perhaps have done with a little more coat to finish the picture. RCC. 2 Hill’s Enzo Z Temnych Noci at Cyfelin. Most attractive head, dark eye and neat ears. Nicely made body with plenty of substance, though perhaps a little more reach of neck would have given him a really striking outline which his huge profuse coat and large fluffy tail tended to hide. Bright and alert the whole time, moved true and with drive.

MPB
(4) 1 Kettle-White’s Lusam Spic N’ Span. 8-months-old orange sable puppy, pleasing head and expression, well used ears. A little long in back, but compensated by really high set tail. Nicely made throughout, moved and showed very well. Just hope she has done all her growing. 2 Roberts’ Biddle J’Adore. What a little sweetie, just six-months-old and at her first show. Full coat of chocolate/cream, balanced head with cute expression, good body for age, needs to level out, a little dropped in shoulder at the moment. Tried hard to show but just couldn’t cope with the uproar from the next ring.

PB
(4) 1 Bradbury’s Baobab Gipsy Rose by Wychlea CNAF. Presented a lovely feminine outline with pretty head, correct mouth, dark eye and neat ears. Soundly constructed, good body with short back and high set tail, finished off with gleaming black coat. Moved with brisk steady gait, should have a promising future. BP. 2 Wootton’s Seirian Asta Sweet Stuff. B/W parti in full coat. Attractive balanced head, dark eye, slightly wider set ears. Nice body for age, short coupled with high set tail, good bone and neat feet. Moved soundly and could be a real glamour girl.

JB
(3) 1 Moir’s Stormavon Sky Flyer to Jansanleis. Delightful little cream coloured bitch. Nicely balanced, really feminine head, neat ears and sparkling dark eyes. Good lay of shoulder, deep body with good spring of rib and high set tail. Good bone for age, beautifully presented in full coat, moved soundly and with drive. A real eye-catcher and pleased to award her BCC. 2 Hill’s Tymy Tourbilloin of Kilma. Pleasing little bitch to go over. Correct mouth, pretty head, dark eye, but would have preferred slightly smaller ears. Well made throughout. Moved and showed well. Rather heavy, profuse tail unbalanced her, otherwise a very nice outline.

PGB
(3) 1 Allison’s Wychlea the Debutant of Terelatim. Another really feminine little bitch presenting a compact outline. Pretty head, dark eyes and neat ears. Good lay of shoulder, nice neck and short back. Coat of good quality, though not profuse. Moved well and showed her socks off. 2 Thomas’ Gamegards Christmas Fairy. Sweet little bitch, rather lighter in frame than 1 and tended to spread herself when standing. Attractive head with alert expression and small ears. Would have liked more substance throughout body and slightly heavier bone, will possibly come with maturity.

LB
(4) 1 Trendle’s Lusam Parti Popper. B/W parti coloured bitch, lovely balanced outline, absolutely on her toes and never let up showing for a moment. Feminine head with mischievous expression and dark eye. Good reach of neck, nicely laid shoulder, ultra short back and high set tail. Moved so soundly, beautifully presented and nicely handled. RCC. 2 Storm’s Stormavon Scotch Mist. Pretty head with neat ears, but would have preferred not quite such a full eye. Well constructed, short coupled body of substance with good front. Nice legs and neat feet, moved and showed well.

OB
(4) 1 Allison’s Oberitz Astrobee. Well balanced head, good mouth, dark eye and neat ears. Nice reach of neck, good body with nice spring of rib. High set tail just added to her correct outline. Good bone and well let down hocks. Moved true both ends, good coat in excellent condition. 2 Wright and Storm’s Ch Orion Absolutely Fabulous. Bigger bitch than 1, in full coat of pretty cream. Pleasing head, but dropping one ear slightly. In general seemed rather disinterested in showing and sluggish on the move, I am sure on a better day she could have shown me her many virtues.
