Critique
German Spitz Klein
PD (1) 1 Highmoor’s Printzagems Verve, super compact black of 6½ months, very well balanced, liked his head & expression, width to skull, ears set high & used to advantage, lovely dark, oval shaped eyes, decent front assembly, level topline, short coupled, high tailset, definition to quarters, moves out like a veteran. BP. JD (6) 1 Hill & Gilraine’s Cyfelin Rudna Romeo, compact sable & all of one piece, so well balanced, very alert expression, using his high set ears, moderate stop & neat eyes. Can stand a touch awkwardly at times. Well ribbed up, high set tail, excellent definition to stifles, moves very true; 2 Cook’s Goldritz Stole The Sun, cream, close up here & also well balanced, possibly a tad longer in loin. Well ribbed, level topline & high set tail, definition to quarters, moves out very soundly; 3 Kemp’s Stormavon Shout At The Moon for Yanlan. PGD (4) 1 Norkett’s Applebanks Thruppence, well grown cream in a fairly compact frame, wedgy head with eye to suit, decent front assembly, well ribbed up & scored in couplings, high set tail, definition to quarters, quality coat, needs to be handled to be fully appreciated. Best mover in this class; 2 Roberts’ Oberitz Sunspot, parti with masculine head, ears set high, good front, well ribbed & bodied, neat rear, in full coat & well handled, steady mover; 3 Trendle’s Lusam Neat N’ Tidy. LD (5) 1 Francis & Pearce’s Stormavon Sonofa Legend of Longsdale, cream which is very useful for size & shape, broad skull, moderate stop, clean dark eyes & good pigmentation, decent front, short coupled, level topline with tailset carried high, good shape to quarters with hocks low set, moves very true. RCC; 2 Serman’s Tymy Tymex, o/s with masculine head, ears detract slightly from otherwise attractive expression. Good front, well ribbed & topline held firm, neat rear, in excellent coat, steady mover; 3 Hawker’s Chilite Nite Spirit. OD (6) 1 Stannard’s Ch Lusam Davey Dingle at Ulmarra, sable who presents an upstanding outline in a very balanced frame, masculine without exaggeration, lovely dark eye of good shape, best of fronts with decent length to leg, spring to ribs & topline level, very high set tail into excellent hindquarters, quality double coat, excellent free & easy action. CC & BOB; 2 Wright’s Minigarden Emil Lovely Boy, white of excellent proportions, masculine head with expressive dark eye & solid pigment, good front, level topline & high set tail, definition to hindquarters, very well presented & moves out with style; 3 Francis & Pearce’s Stormavon Special To Me.
PB (1) 1 Chamber’s Printzagems Viva La Diva, shiny black who presents a good, almost square outline, head developing well, ears high set, expressive dark eyes of good shape, moderate stop, well ribbed up & short coupled, level topline with tail carried confidently, modelled hindquarters, moved well once settled. JB (7) 1 Serman’s Tymy Footsteps, well balanced black of good type, neat ears used to advantage, dark eye of good oval shape, moderate stop, decent straight front, very well ribbed up, tailset high, good quarters & super coat quality, moves with style; 2 Francis & Pearce’s Radajasa Agent Cher Bertfiz of Longsdale, cream who was very close up, handy size & very well balanced, clean dark eye, decent front assembly, well ribbed, firm loin, well finished rear & tailset, steady mover; 3 Morgan’s Lusam Maybe Baby at Ahlenagen. PGB (8,1a) 1 Francis & Pearce’s Rimazet Serafino of Longsdale, although not in full coat, I thought this brown stood away here, must have a bright future. Balanced through with most attractive head & features, feminine with sufficient substance, good quarters, leg length good, although coat tends to tell you otherwise. Excellent mover, happy to give her the CC which I understand is her second, I see this kennel figured highly in the awards & I congratulate them on acquiring such quality stock; 2 Serman’s Tymy Footsteps; 3 Hughes & Forrester’s Tymy Quickstep to Candease. LB (2) 1 Highmoor’s Jolieville Starlight, handy brown with substance, yet retaining femininity, good width to head, moderate stop, possesses neat eye & appealing expression, decent front, very well ribbed up & carried back, high set tail, moved true; 2 Francis & Pearce’s Rimazet Santanna of Longsdale, smaller black & very well proportioned, neat in ear & eye, good front, well ribbed with firm topline, moves out with ease. OB (4) 1 Trendle’s Lusam Parti Popper, this parti has much appeal, upstanding with good length to leg & overall balance, feminine head, neat ears & dark eye, good front, well ribbed up, level topline & high set tail, moderate definition to quarters, most collected mover. RCC; 2 Storm’s Stormavon Scotch Mist, much to like about this white, but never really settled to the job in hand. Expressive feminine head, well ribbed up, firm loin, high set tail & moved soundly; 3 Highmoor’s Kartmel Bootlicious.
