Critique
VD (5, 1) Excellent class to start. 1 Kimber's Ch Wychlea Ludo At Stonelight. 7 year old black of lovely balance, holding his shape on the move, excellent skull and dark eye, good muzzle, full of breed type, excellent rear action, carried himself well. CC and BOB. 2 Furber's Ch Oberitz Cozmopolitan At Holbain. Another lovely veteran. Cream, and ultra sound, not quite in the coat of the winner, but full of quality. 3 Highmoor's Ch Kartmel Legolas. 8 years old, again a high quality dog, preferred the eyes of those above.
Sp PD (5) 1 Kemp's Orion Black Dazzle At Yanlan. 13 months old, balanced and sound with good head, sturdy bone, carries his shape well, not in full coat but won this class and BP on his movement. 2 Halligan's Nardik New Moon At Icabel. 11 months, cream, looked my winner standing, in super coat and with beautiful head, eyes and ears, his movement was not as consistent as the winner, gave him several tries but didn't settle, a pity. 3 Beck's Nardik Tiger Woods. 11 months black, typy and well bred, not the topline of the two above, a little round in the eye.
Sp JD (5) Two very good dogs. 1 Morgan's Cyfelin Jack Frost At Ahlenagen. 14 month old cream with lovely headpiece. I'd prefer just a little more length of leg for perfect balance, in good coat, excellent movement, scored in ears and body over second. 2 Highmoor's Printzagems Verve. Black, pressed very hard, lovely type and balance, and I preferred his leg length to the winner, sound, brisk action. The winner a little more finished in body. Should finish well. 3 Kemp's Orion Black Dazzle At Yanlan.
PGD (6) 1 Cook's Goldritz Stole The Sun. 21 months cream, not in full coat but of good shape and balance and with a good stride which put him here. A little large in ear. 2 Hourd's Stonelight Rafferty's Rules. I liked his type very much and better ears than the winner but he does nothing to help himself on the table or on the move when he tucks himself up and does not stride out as he should. 3 Horton's Holbain Mr Pringle. 2 years old, heavier dog who is too long for balance, head and eyes do not appeal.
LD(11, 1) 1 Furber's Holbain Choc O Late. 2 years old brown of lovely shape, balance and movement, flat skull, good ears and eyes, coming into good coat of very good texture, pressed hard in the challenge where he just looked immature against the two who went above him. 2 Allison's Oberitz Sunshine. 2 years old orange sable shown in lovely form and a great mover, pressed very hard, like the winner, is full of type and quality. I just preferred the winner for balance. 3 Halligan's Icabel Shine On. Chocolate/white parti who is a little wide in front but won this place on bone and body.
OD(10, 1) Excellent class. 1 Serman's Ch Tymy Tymex JW. Ultra sound, great moving dog, very well put together with good chest, ribbing, bone and feet, held himself well, full of Spitz character. Res CC. I just preferred the headpiece of the veteran, but very close. 2 Bradbury's Ch Wychlea Rhonday Vooh. 3 year old black of the shape and balance I look for, very sound and Spitz-like on the move, good head, would just prefer a slightly darker eye. 3 Wright's Minigarden Emil Lovely Boy (Imp). Impressive eyecatching white, good skull and eye, preferred ear placement of those above, good stride but a little loose in front.
Good Citizen D (5) 1 Trendle's Lusam Tuff Talkin ShCM. Eight and a half year old and VHC in strong open class, excellent body shape and movement, in good coat, would prefer a flatter skull. 2 Trendle's Lusam Crispin Blunt. 6 year old black, a little long for balance, excellent head type, good mover. 3 Trendle's Lusam Charlie Dobby. 11 years old and still sound, a little short on leg. VB (7) Excellent class, like the veteran dogs, these showed the lasting qualities of the breed. 1 Dyer's Ch Wychlea The Dutchess ShCM. 7 years old, quite beautiful in shape, balance and outline, firm topline, good ribbing, very accurate on the move, in great form. 2 Bradbury's Ch Wychlea Aimy Vooh. Another black pressing the winner as she had such Spitz carriage and showmanship. I slightly preferred the winner for balance and front movement. 3 Trendle's Lusam Super Spats. 9 year old sable.
Sp PB (6, 1) Difficult class. 1 Norkett's Applebanks Florentine. 11 months, looked the finished picture here with coat, body and good head and eye, has good length of stride which could have been a little more accurate. I'd like just a little more leg, but looked well here. Best PB. 2 Bradbury's Stonelight Smoke N Mirrors By Wychlea. 13 month old black, not in good coat and looking the raw teenager against a puppy in full bloom, excellent balance and movement, can change places. 3 Hamer's Clarmers Caramel Surprise. Baby of 9 months, of excellent balance but a little soft in topline.
Sp JB(2) 1 Chambers' Printzagems Viva La Diva For Musique. 15 months old black, full of type all through and should have a good future, good movement, brisk style and good carriage. 2 Hill's Cyfelin Rudna Juliet. 14 months gold, out of coat today, she is sound, has dark eyes but I would prefer a flatter skull.
PGB(8, 2) 1 Delve's Claran Pavlova. 2 year old cream, I loved her beautiful shape and balance and Spitz temperament and carriage, very good mover, just coming back into coat. 2 Griffiths' Dunbrook Pink Fizz. 2 year old black, sturdy with excellent bone and ribbing, just a little rounder in eye and not quite the tailset of winner. 3 Wright's Chilite Lunar Moon. 2 year old orange, a little finer in bone, quality headpiece.
LB(8)Good class. 1 Pearce &Francis' Radajasa Agent Cher Bertfiz Of Longsdale. Almost 2 years old, cream, whose movement and stride were excellent and that just got her the nod in a close decision. Good bone, feet and well balanced, good head and eyes, ears could be neater but not held by not being in quite her best coat, however, pressed hard in the challenge. 2 Serman's Tymy Footsteps JW. Beautiful black, so Spitzy in type and temperament, a little shorter than the winner with square outline, good coat and movement, slightly preferred the winners eyes. 3 Morgan's Lusam Maybe Baby At Ahlenagen. 2 years old sable who has a lot of quality and went well to get her place in this strong class.
OB(10) 1 Pearce &Francis' Ch Rimazet Serafino Of Longsdale JW. Brown bitch with beautiful head, eyes and ears, coming into a coat of excellent texture, good bone and feet. I'd prefer just a fraction more leg for balance and slightly cleaner in the hocks, however, coat, topline and carriage put her here and took her to the CC. 2 Penwarne's Sheldamar Spell On Voo. Beautiful black who is ultra sound, beautifully constructed and shows well on the move, lovely head, not in her best coat and this just detracted from her outline on the move, when in full coat should do a lot of top winning. Today the Res CC. 3 Wright &Storm's Ch Orion Absolutely Fabulous. A very good bitch for type and balance but not quite in her best coat and just a little slack generally, lacking the spritely Spitz carriage I've seen her display.
Good Citizen B(7) 1 Trendle's Lusam Parti Popper ShCM. 5 year old black/white particolour with good leg length and balance, sound moving, good headpiece, ears could be neater. 2 Delve's Claran Pavlova. 3 Breen's Ch Kylecroft Symphony. Cream bitch of quality with flat skull, good muzzle, eyes and ears, not in her best coat.
