Thanks to the exhibitors for accepting me as a replacement for Mrs Hunter who was unable to officiate today.
VD (1) 1 Highmoor’s Ch Kartmel Legolas, compact black & so well balanced with well laid out head & neat ears, well ribbed up & tailset high, good turn of stifle & sound true mover.PD (4) 1 Allison & Hinks’ Qberitz Buzz Lightyear, cream in excellent condition, head well laid out with good expression, decent neck & shoulder to straight front & tight feet, well sprung ribs for age. Would prefer tailset a little higher. Good for rear angles & moves out true each way, sporting harsh double coat; 2 Holmes Inspector Morse, br/w parti, balanced head with good attributes & expression, firm elbows & straight front, ribcage developing. Needs to carry more bodyweight & gain in confidence to project himself better; 3 Holmes’ Sargent Lewis. JD (3) 1 Francis, Pearce & Tullis’ Icarus von Zwergen Konig, super well grown white, solidly built without exaggeration & beautifully balanced, backskull broad & ears well placed, moderate stop, dark eyes of good shape & set, excellent pigmentation, clean neck & shoulder, developed ribcage & tailset high, desired turn of stifle & very true moving, quality package in top form & pushed hard for top honours; 2 Crowther’s Tymy The Woodman, o/s, balanced outline with masculine head, dark eye of good shape & wedgy muzzle, firm body & topline. Touch lazy with tail but set is correct. Definition to quarters, very sound moving; 3 Shepherd’s Chilite Indian Chief. PGD (2) 1 Holmes’ Limburg Golden Jason, orange with broad skull & moderate stop, dark oval shaped eye, clean neck & shoulder, straight forelimbs, well ribbed up & fairly short coupled, high set tail, good rear definition, true enough mover, in harsh double coat. LD (4) 1 Morgan’s Cyfelin Jack Frost at Ahlenagen, sable, neat package, liked his head & expression with attributes well laid out, muzzle well finished with some fill under eyes, strong neck, very well sprung ribcage, level topline & tailset high, decent rear with low set hock, moves out true with purpose, in excellent double coat & condition, RCC; 2 Allison’s Oberitz Sunshine, orange who is very clean in head that needs studying to be fully appreciated, ears high set & fairly thick, good fore & aft, tailset & carried high, quality coat & action; 3 Thomas’ Cyfelin Rudna Razzle from Indizak. OD (6) Interesting class that took a bit of sorting out. 1 Highmoor’s Printzagems Verve, black in harsh shiny coat but lacking a little undercoat. Clean masculine wedgy head without any exaggeration, decent neck & front assembly, well ribbed up & carried back to give short couplings, level topline & tailset high, moderate turn of stifle, sound easy reachy mover. CC; 2 Hill & Gilraine’s Ch Cyfelin Rudna Romeo, sable in full coat, very impressive from all angles & was close up here, short coupled with firm topline & tail carried high. Sound mover but not quite the freedom of 1 on the final run off; 3 Metcalfe’s Flactem Domino.
VB (0). PB (3) 1 Metcalfes Flactem Midnight Blues, black with shading, ultra feminine & balanced, head well laid out with dark eye giving good expression, straight front to good feet, well ribbed for age & short coupled, high set tail & tidy rear, stylish mover, coat coming. BP; 2 Allisons Oberitz Cocoa Bean, useful & of good type. Slightly long cast & not the balanced head of 1. Straight front & level topline, high set tail, definition to hindquarters, moves out steadily. 3 Holmes’ Hyacent Bucket. NB (1) 1 Hills’ Cyfelin Rudna Juliet, very soundly constructed & upstanding cream. Well grown with dark eye but a touch bold. Straight forelimbs, moderate body properties, some bend to stifle, sound mover. In between coats. PGB (3) 1 Griffiths’ Dunbrook Pink Fizz, feminine with balanced head, would prefer a shade darker eye. Reasonable spring of rib, firm topline & tail carried high, in harsh shiny black coat & moves out with enthusiasm. LB (4) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Radajasa Agent Cher Bertfiz of Longsdale, cream in tip-top form, super for type & construction, head beautifully laid out with moderate stop & oval shaped dark eyes, good wedgy finish to muzzle, excellent shoulder & front, well ribbed up & short coupled, level topline & very high set tail, modelled hindquarters with hock set low, moves freely & accurately with enthusiasm & purpose, a close run thing with her kennelmate but felt it was her day. CC & BOB; 2 Chambers’ Printzagems Viva La Diva for Musique, another most lovely black, not quite the finish in head of 1 as yet but has expressive & really dark eyes. Straight front & well ribbed up, good topline & tailset, tidy hindquarters, another very sound & stylish mover; 3 Morgan’s Lusam Maybe Baby at Ahlengen. OB (3) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Ch Longsdale’s Jen You Win, cream in super coat & condition, head feminine & very well laid out, ears & eyes well placed, balanced muzzle, best of shoulders & fronts down to neat feet, good body to leg length ratios, ribs carried well back & loin firm, moderate turn of stifle, so stylish in action. RCC; 2 Hills’ Edburton Llyngoes at Cyfelin, another very attractive black of much quality. Not quite the leg length & hence balance of 1 but has many of the same attributes. Super mover especially the rear & in good double coat.
