Critique

KLEIN: PD. (1). 1. Highmoor’s, Kartmel Leyolas. 7 months old well balanced, very active especially on the move, where his young handler looked as if she found him quite a challenge. Nice head pattern good tail set and in lovely coat. Just needs to settle.

PGD. (4). 1. Gillies’, Onz Toekmstv Promising Garden at Kartmel. White dog between coats. Not the best of showmen. Good head shape, neat ears nice eye, correct amount of stop, lovely pigment. Well balanced. Moved well maintaing his topline at all times. 2. McBain’s, Willmac the Vagabond. Cream with lovely pigment nice head and expression. Between coats, good size. Nicely balanced. Another that needs to settle on the move. 3. McBain’s, Wilmac the Vagabond.

LD. (4). 1. Dickinson and Taylor and Ventura. Terendak Bubble Baileys. Handsome 18 months old cream dog, pressed hard for the CC and only just lost out. I awarded him the RCC. He is short coupled, well balanced with a nice bone of correct size. He has a lovely head and very dark pigment. Neat feet. Good tail set groomed to perfection. Moved well. 2. Quayle’s, Kartmel Vianded. Handsome black sable. Another between coats and even though was up to size had a lot going for him. Lovely shape really quite square. Clean head, legs well boned and straight with good strong pasterns. Correct tail set and topline. Nicely ribbed with moderate tuck up. Moved with a lovely brisk action. 3. Alison’s, Oberitz Galaxy Romeo.

OD. (3). 1. Serman’s, Roydenzone Cortese Among Tymy. This lovely well knit and firm conditioned black and white dog carries a wealth of coat of good texture and can cause an optical illusion, thus making it seem that he is longer in back that what he really is. He has the most appealing head and a lovely expression. Good clean dentition. Clean neck which is well set into shoulders. Nicely ribbed with the correct amount of tuck up. Good tail set and when he stopped hopping over that bracken he moved well. DCC. 2. Wright’s, Ch. Orion Mirror Image. Worthy of his title. Good clean head, beautiful pigment, neat ears, firm short coupled. Well balanced, level back and good tail set. In beautiful coat and groomed to perfection as always from this kennel. 3. Allison’s, Cholite Nitelite for Oberitz.

PB. (4). 1. Smith’s, Kartmel Rivendale. Promising youngster, black short coupled 8 months old in super condition and very well trained for the tender age. She had an appealing head and expression with neat ears and lovely dark eye. Nicely boned, neat feet. Straight level back and correct tail set. No bracken was to upset this little lady, she moved very well and I was pleased to award her the RCC and BP. 2. Lovelock’s, Shetlocks Indigo. Nice blue of good shape and size. Neat head, ears and nice eye. Well ribbed and rounded and good topline. Needs to settle especially on the move. 3. Serman’s, Shetlock Infatuation among Tymy.

JB. (3). 1. Breen’s, Hasweth Shay Lady at Kylecroft. Lovely blue sable bitch which was hiding nothing as she was completely out of coat, she has a charming head and a very feminine expression, a nice eye, correct clean dentition. Super topline which she maintained all the time. Neat feet, well ribbed, and a real show girl and moved with a lovly brisk action no effort at all. 2. Gillies’, Kartmel Whirwind. Firm conditioned, short coupled, well boned and ribbed. Neat feet. Correct and good clean dentition. 3. Blight’s, Nosregor Tazmania Girl at Rosechow.

PGB. (3). 1. Allison’s, Oberitz Golden Girl. Orange sable not in the best of coats. Neatly balanced throughout good pigment, nice angulation. Moderate tuck up. Good bone, neat tail set. Moved with a lovely brisk action. 2. Brandbury and Lamming’s, Wychlea Bee Bopululu. Lovely rich brown bitch between coats with a most delightful head and expression. In firm condition. Good topline and tail set, well ribbed, moderate tuck up. Needs to settle on the move. 3. Caldow’s, Zwart Oploeien Van Psomising Garden in Livlandean (Imp).

LB. (1). 1. Lovelock’s, Shetlocks Heart Breaker. Good black and depth and texture. Pleasing head pattern. Nicely balanced, neat ears, nice eye. Correct size, good tail set.

OB. (4). 1. Wright and Ruotsalainen’s, Int Ch. Vilitens Dianna (Imp). Black bitch that I have always admired from the ringside and she really lived up to my expectations. Short coupled, well knit and almost square in pristine condition and coat of a real good depth and texture. She is everything you eant. Elegant head, sweet expression the neatest of ears and feet. Lovely straight bone. Good size. Well ribbed and rounded with a moderate tuck up. Good tail set and topline which she maintained at all times. Moves and shows like a real champion. BCC and BOB. 2. Caldow’s, Kartmel Ferrycrossing to Livlandean. Good deep black of nice texture. Very feminine, dark eye. Nicely boned, well ribbed. Moderate tuck up, good tail set. Needs to settle on the move. 3. Lovelock’s, Shetlocks go go Dancer.
