Critique
Mittel: I usually find myself with a line up of blacks or browns, so to end up with a cream winner was a bit of a shock! Thank you for a numerically flattering entry. There was a lot of variation in soundness and type.
MPD (5,1) 1 Hill's Sobriety Hot Chocolate. Up to size, brown baby. Very well balanced. Well set neck and shoulder, into strong body. Excellent tail set. In fluffy puppy coat, and lots of it. Well presented. 2 Barber's Daraydala Pooh Bear The First Taf. Naked cream youngster, but really has nothing to hide. Well balanced with moderate angles front and rear. Good reach of neck and excellent tail set. 3 Mountain's Daraydala Fire Cracker At Hocombewood.
PD (5) 1 Smith's Wyndlee Ghostly Magic. Standing four square, sound balanced cream. Short coupling with collected gait. Big plumed tail. Good head type. BPIB. 2 Hewett's Spellcast Secret and Lies. Another Cream with a big coat. Slightly longer cast than excellent bone. Softer expression than 1 but preferred rear action of winner. 3 Beard & Mullholland's Wyndlee Desperado Between Zephon.
JD (1) 1 Clayton's Studholme White Diamond. Lovely silhouette, albeit a bit sparse coated. A little lean to go over. Good pigment. Good front movement. Rear is not typical. Standing alone.
PGD (4) 1 Rogerson & Quayle Nosregor Kateandy Cregg-Na-Bay. Brown boy with good square outline. Very spitzy well shaped head and good ear set. Not in full coat but a good quality evident. A pattern which appeals very much to me, but tied in elbow when moving and narrow in rear. 2 Samuels' Spellcast Urban Legend With Runestone. Black boy, bigger overall and slightly coarser in head. Another good square dog but who rocks in front when moving. Dense pigment and good ear set. Good tail set. 3 Williams's Druitz Cadfael.
LD (7,2) 1 Corkin's Nixtev Kinetic Under Fouranfass. Masculine black, very solid to go over. Best balance overall in this class with a lot in front of the legs and excellent reach of neck. Short coupling and excellent tail set. Standing four square. 2 Hill's Wyndlee Yin Of Sobriety. Excellent presentation on this black white parti. Another good reach of neck going into good shoulder. A different head type to 1, with shorter softer muzzle. Excellent body shape but a little lean at the moment. Good rear movement. 3 Rogerson's Nosregor Kateandy Moogi-Dhoo. Winser's Pennypot Enigma Of Lysebourne.
OD (7,1) 1 Chambers' Ch Druitz Corncracker For Teamspitz JW ShCM. A lovely class of males with some excellent dogs down the line. This well coated cream impressed on the table, being far squarer and with better leg length than his blousy coat would have you believe. Good body dept and coupling and well boned for size. In good muscled condition. Excellent movement, front and rear, which was a rarity today. CC and BOB. I thought he looked the best of the spitz breeds in the group. 2 Hewett's Ch Spellcast Talk To Me JW. A black with a square spitzy outline making a wonderful silhouette with excellent tail set. Excellent head shape and eyes and ear set. In softer condition than 1 and front movement suffered because of it. Lovely dog though. RCC. 3 Rogerson's Nosregor Fernando.
MPB (1) 1 Beard's Sobriety Fifth Element. Orange and white bitch with the prettiest of heads. Up to size at the moment. Well bodied and moves using stifles well. Good leg length and tail set.
PB (2) 1 Hill's Wyndlee Sad Cafe Of Sobriety. Black white parti, very good to go over for construction, if a little lean. Expressive pretty head. Well set ears. Sound front and rear movement. Excellent tail set. 2 Butler's Wyndlee New Kid In Town. Well presented and handled. Deep body, broad back and solid to go over. Not correct coat type. Well set tail. Moved OK.
PGB (6,3) 1 Moir's Nixtev Liberty At Jansanleis. White bitch standing four square. Excellent overall balance. Good outline and balanced angles resulting in a short balanced gait. Excellent tail set and lovely pigment. 2 Williams's Druitz Melisande. Red bitch looking very short of coat, but this showed off her very square outline. Very nice to go over with short coupling and well set tail. Unsettled on the move very sound rear evident. 3 Mason & Paterson's Nixtev Kali Of Keldfire.
LB (5) 1 Beard's Spilmah Penny Layne In Wyndlee. Feminine black girl who fits between the two measures satisfactorily. Bone is good for size. Spitzy head with well set ears and eyes, well pigmented. Stands four square and moved with excellent short gait. Excellent tail set and the showmanship that one should have with a spitz. Bitch CC. 2 Garbutt's Nixtev Lexis. Bigger pattern white girl with good head and excellent pigment. Excellent to go over on the table with good body and excellent bone. Sound front and rear but insisted on crabbing. Huge white coat, well presented and handled. 3 Heslop's Runfold Joo Joo Bee Doo By Flamuna.
OB (5,3) 1 Powell's Desaria Fanny-Ann At Brookwel. Blue in excellent hard condition. Correct coat texture and excellent presentation. Well shaped head and correct pigment for colour. Short typical gait. Good to handle on table. Res CC. 2 Chamber's Ch Nosregor Bewitched For Musique. Gassy brown with many qualities. Excellent bone, head and tail. Softer condition than 1 and longer in coupling. Moved soundly.
