Critique

MPD (1) A. PD (3) 1 Jones’ Flamuna Revelations at Runestone, 11 months & quite mature with the best of coats, pleasing head & eye, correct expression, very balanced in quarters, all of which showed in a true positive action. BP; 2 Williams’ Druitz The Student Prince, 11 months black but not the same maturity. Sound to go over, excellent head & eye, well laid shoulder. Just not as positive as 1; 3 Hughes & Forrester’s Druitz Welsh Wizard at Candease. JD (1) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize, 16 months white, good to go over, good carriage, well set in neck, good ribbing, topline & tailset, good ground covering action. YD (1) 1 Alfred’s Rossfort My Imp at Teamor, 19 months at the smaller end of the size. Good expression, correct in earset & sound body, true action. Would just prefer a little more on the leg to complete the balance. PGD (3) 1 Heslop’s Flamuna Franz Ferdinand, he was the dog with the style & panache. Good balance in size & outline, correct in head, good carriage overall, well put together & a ground covering action. RCC; 2 Andrew’s Claran Narada, not quite the style of 1 but good overall construction. Lovely lay of shoulder, elbow to body & firm in loin, good action; 3 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short ‘N Sweet at Azkaban. LD (3) 1 Rogerson & Quayle’s Nosregor Katenandy Cregg-na-bay, smart brown, good style & excellent head carriage, good use of ears, well set neck of correct proportion to sound well balanced body, good angles, true action. Pushed hard for higher honours; 2 Alfred’s Liubice Just William, white of good type but not quite balance & outline. Good to go over, sound in body. Not quite as true in front as 1. OD (6) 1 Rogerson’s Ch Nosregor Kateandy Moogi-dhoo, brown, really impressed with his overall type & construction, excellent coupling & topline, has all the tools to go far in the breed. Super body, balanced quarters & a picture standing & moving. CC & BOB; 2 Williams’ Druitz Black Prince, black, pushed hard for top spot but not quite the lay of shoulder I was looking for. Good carriage, soundly constructed & made use of his good angles in action; 3 Hewett’s Ch Spellcast Secrets And Lies. GCD (0).

MPB (1) A. PB (4) 1 Williams’ Druitz Follow That Dream, 10 months & the only one in the class who put it all together. Good outline, feminine head, well angled body, correct in top & tail, correct bone & feet, pleasing action; 2 Hughes & Forrester’s Druitz Dusky Dream at Candease, a little apprehensive at first but settled. A likeable bitch, sound & well put together, good overall balance; 3 McLaren’s Ichmoran Primrose Polka. JB (1) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Passion, white, the most wonderful ring presence, good style & excellent carriage, well muscled body, in full coat, loved her expression & sound body, bone & action. RCC.YB (2) 1 Orr’s Rossfort Andante with Sobriety, very feminine 18 months cream, good body & well muscled, feminine with good expression, sound body, balanced proportions. Extends well in front & maintains her topline throughout; 2 Alfred’s Rossfort Black Girl at Teamor, black of 18 months, not quite the finish but pleasing to go over. Good forechest & lay of shoulder, feminine throughout & good use of hocks behind. PGB (4) 1 Heslop’s Flamuna Fratelli, this bitch was the more complete of the two in body, carriage of head, well muscled body & quarters, good wither & topline. I loved her femininity & expression; 2 McLaren’s Daraydala Hocombewood Black Diamond, not quite the finish & body of 1. Pleasing in head, good topline, well laid shoulder. Just moved a little close behind. LB (1) A. OB (3) 1 Orr’s Ch Pufnstuf Put A Spell On You at Sobriety, black, quite filled my eye with her presence & style & so full of it. Sassy with good head, set of ear, perfect in neck, sound balanced body & quarters, so much to like in profile & on the move. CC; 2 Purves’ Ch Rossfort Griselda, good outline & construction, lovely feminine expression, stands true & moves with easy action. Just a little longer in loin than 1 but a lovely specimen. GCB (1) A.
